Joe from New York City! ๐Ÿ—ฝ

Iโ€™m Joe. It's a pleasure to be here!

My background is in talent acquisition and I worked at a Manhattan-based recruiting firm focused on tech startup hiring for a number of years before joining a software company and learning to code. Now, I'm building my own HR tech business, RELO NYC, to help people relocate to New York and "onboard to the city".ย

Once upon a time I was once an official New York City tour guide and I previously lived abroad in Europe for 4 years, so I know personally how hard it can be to uproot your life for work. I also hold my New York State real estate sales license and enjoy welcoming people here.

I'm excited to join InGoodCompany to learn from fellow HR pros about how relocations are handled and share ideas on how to build smooth moving playbooks for talent acquisition. Looking forward to connecting here and you can also find me on LinkedIn!

RELO NYC (I already poked around the website) is a super cool idea! Best wishes for success with the biz/product/site!

Joe, welcome! Fellow former NYC recruiter here. I did the Manhattan recruiting scene for years, so this one hits home. And RELO NYC is a genuinely great idea. Moving someone's desk is the easy part. Getting them to actually feel like a New Yorker is the hard part, and almost nobody solves for that. So glad you're here.

Hi everyone!

Excited to be joining this community ๐Ÿ‘‹ A bit about myself:

I've spent most of my career in hypergrowth tech environments, where I learned to build the plane while flying it. Now I want to keep learning while sharing what I've picked up along the way, which is why I recently started my own business, Limitless Bold, a People & Leadership consulting firm for scale-ups and companies in transformation. Together with my colleague, we operate mainly across Germany.

My HR superpower is building high-performance organizations with heart: thinking outside the box, mastering speed with quality, without losing the human side. Right now I'm especially interested in exchanging ideas on how to free up more time for what actually matters, and on current trends and challenges in HR and leadership. I'm also a big HiBob fan, though still learning, no pro yet!

On a lighter note, back in university I was part of a team that built race cars. Clearly the need for speed started early. ๐Ÿ˜„

Would love to connect with anyone working on similar topics, feel free to reach out here or on LinkedIn!

Charlotte, welcome! Turns out we do the same work, so I already know we'll have plenty to talk about. And the race car build made me ๐Ÿคญ. The people who move fast without flattening the humans around them usually got wired that way early. So glad you're here, one founder to another.

Hello from Los Angeles ! ๐Ÿ‘‹

Hi everyone! ๐Ÿ‘‹

I'm Anna Valle, a People Operations & Culture Partner based in Los Angeles, CA, with 7+ years building and scaling HR operations in fast-paced, high-growth tech companies.

I've spent a lot of my career being the "Swiss Army Knife of HR": jumping into messy systems, cleaning up data, building AI-enabled automations, and turning scattered processes into scalable infrastructure. HiBob is a big part of my toolkit history, so it's great to be joining this community!

What I'm passionate about: building and optimizing People Ops to be both human-centered and operationally sound. I love the puzzle of making systems work for people instead of around them. Outside of work, you'll find me in the garden, out on a hike, or camping somewhere I've never been, always looking for the next new spot to discover.

Excited to connect and learn from this community! ๐ŸŒฑ

Welcome to the community, Anna! Look forward to connecting!

Anna, welcome! We clearly care about the same things. I've spent years watching companies install shiny systems and then act surprised when nobody uses them. Sounds like you're one of the few who builds so that never happens. So glad you're here. Looking forward to collaborating. Shera

Hello๐Ÿ‘‹ from sunny Greece ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ท

Hi everyone! ๐Ÿ‘‹

My name is Tonia and, after spending several years living and working in Copenhagen, Denmark, I am now based once again in my home city of Athens, Greece.

Iโ€™ve worked in the tech industry for more than a decade and, although my background is originally in arts and culture, the Future of Work movement won me over back in 2017. Thatโ€™s when I transitioned into the world of HR โ€” and I havenโ€™t looked back since.

I consider myself an HR Solutions Architect at heart. I love looking at how people, processes, technology, and culture come together, and thereโ€™s hardly a People & Culture challenge, big or small, that I donโ€™t enjoy digging into and trying to solve.

Outside of work, I love cooking and baking, propagating plants, spending time by the sea, discovering new spots and restaurants around the city, and having meaningful conversations with interesting people.

That last one is also part of what made me jump at the opportunity to lead the In Good Company Chapter here in Athens. Iโ€™m really looking forward to bringing HR & People professionals together locally, while also connecting, exchanging ideas and sharing knowledge with this wider community online.

Iโ€™m very happy to be here and look forward to getting to know many of you!

Take care and have a lovely summer! ๐Ÿ–๏ธ

Tonia, welcome, and what a hello! People who can't walk past a problem without pulling it apart are my favorite kind, it's the whole reason I do what I do. Leading the Athens chapter suits you already. So glad you're building something there, and glad you're here. Looking forward to more. Shera
