Hi everyone! I'm Leslie, joining you from Metro Vancouver, BC, Canada 🇨🇦

I'm the Founder & CEO of Flexihire Talent, an HR and recruitment outsourcing firm supporting startups and SMBs across Canada, the US, and globally. Before starting my own firm, I spent 12 years in embedded HR and recruitment roles, and I'm a CPHR with an MBA.

What I'm passionate about: proving that people and profit are not in competition. I built my company around people-first HR that actually scales.

What you'll probably catch me posting about: practical HR tips, candidate experience, and the messy, honest side of building an HR firm from scratch.

I’m Kirsten. It is nice to meet you all 😊

I'm a Total Rewards & People Operations guru based in Raleigh, NC, with over 15 years of experience in Human Resources. I currently serve as Sr. Manager of Total Rewards at Merz Therapeutics, where my core focus is designing and implementing total rewards programs, strategies, and policies that align with our business objectives and culture.

Beyond total rewards, my HR journey has taken me through talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, HRIS, training, and organizational development. I love connecting the dots across the full people landscape.

On the credentials side, I hold my SHRM-SCP from SHRM, my PHR from HRCI, and my Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) and Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) from WorldatWork. I'm proud to have recently earned my Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) certification as well!

At the heart of everything I do is a passion for helping employees succeed and grow, and for building positive, motivating cultures. My mission is to be a true strategic partner to business leaders, and my ultimate goal is to grow into a VP of HR or CHRO role.

I'm Alexandra.

I've always been fascinated by the relationship between people and organisations: how culture is shaped, how trust is built, and why some workplaces bring out the best in people while others slowly drain them.

My career started in recruitment, helping companies find and attract talent across different industries and technology environments. Over time, my curiosity expanded beyond hiring itself and into what happens after people join: how they grow, perform, collaborate, experience leadership, and make sense of their place within an organisation.

That curiosity gradually led me into broader People & Culture roles. Today, after 15+ years working across recruitment, employee experience, performance management, career development, engagement, people operations, and organisational development, I partner with leaders and teams to help create environments where both people and businesses can thrive.

What interests me most is understanding how organisations work beneath the surface. Not just processes, policies, or frameworks, but the human dynamics behind them: what creates trust, what enables growth, and how leaders shape the environments around them.

Outside work, I'm an avid reader, curious traveller, psychology enthusiast, and someone who is constantly exploring new ideas simply because they spark my interest. I'm also a proud cat mom 😻.
