I'm Christy Harper, Founder & Partner of Archway Advisors, and I am so excited to finally be part of this community.
🙋♀️ A little about me:
I'm a certified ICF Coach and SHRM-SCP HR professional based in Burlington, Ontario, working with clients across Canada and the US 🇨🇦🇺🇸 — and I've spent my career helping businesses grow by investing in the people who make them run.
But here's the twist 🔄 — I didn't start in HR. I spent 15+ years in marketing and market research, owning P&Ls and sitting on the business side of the table. That background means I speak the language of business leaders because I've been one — and it shapes how I approach every people challenge I take on.
Through Archway Advisors, I work with leaders and organizations across three areas:
🎯 Executive & 1:1 Coaching — helping leaders unlock new levels of impact
🌱 Development Programs — building cultures of continuous growth
🔎 Talent Acquisition Strategy Consulting — helping internal teams hire smarter and more effectively
My experience spans Fortune 100 companies to small privately-owned firms, across tech, CPG, and beyond — which means I've learned to meet businesses exactly where they are, not where a textbook says they should be.
🥎 The backstory (because every good intro needs one!):
Before any of that, I was a Division I collegiate softball player and a Brown University Athletic Hall of Fame inductee. That experience shaped everything about how I approach my work — especially the belief that the best teams win together, not alone. That "partnership-first" mindset is baked into everything I do at Archway Advisors.
💬 What I'm hoping to bring to this community:
I'm here to learn, share, and connect with fellow HR and people leaders who are figuring out the same hard stuff I am. Whether it's navigating talent strategy, building development programs that actually stick, or just swapping notes on what's working (and what definitely isn't 😅) — I'm all in.
