Labour & Employment Lawyer | Founder

Hi everyone,

I'm a labour and employment lawyer based in Kitchener-Waterloo, Canada. I often help international employers with operations in Canada and I handle all aspects of employment law from hiring to firing as well as litigation that might follow. I am fascinated by the leadership part of workplace law and love empowering my HR clients in their leadership capacity while also guiding them on the law. I see it as law + leadership.

My firm is called "In Good Counsel" so when I saw there was an HR community called "In Good Company", I really didn't have a choice but to join! lol.

I'm also a dad of three, and in my free time enjoy gardening, running, traveling and drinking coffee. Oh, and for the Dutch folks in this community, my parents are Dutch so I love going back to the Netherlands as often as I can for some frikandel speciaal and patatje oorlog. Zoo lekker:)
