I've worked in the world of HR for the past 20 years, first in corporate (think large, public companies) for the last 10 years, and then I pivoted dramatically to venture-backed startups for the last 10 years. I've spent the majority of my startup years working for founder-led companies, big and small (that's my sweet spot).
Eventually that led me to start my own venture called 5 to 9 Society, an exclusive membership community for executives. The lessons I learned building organizations prompted me to go from zero-to-one building the Society. Being the Founder and CHRO of my startup is the best place to be, in my honest opinion.
