One of my favorite things I've done in my career is deep listening tours.
I go into an organization, interview people at every level, and make sense of enormous amounts of messy human input.
Finding patterns in all that data is one of the things I'm best at, and it's exactly the kind of thing AI can now do in minutes.
What I'm trying now: after the interviews, I record myself giving the "coach's narrative" and telling the story I feel is there. Then I hold that up to what the tool tabulated.
While I'm sad to lose an aspect of my job that I loved, I'd rather build the new version deliberately than pretend the old one is coming back.
What does "building the new version" look like for you in your role?
