Our SECOND London community chapter event is in the bag, and it was amazing to meet new and returning faces from our first event!

As we all know, uncertainty, change, and pressure are at an all-time high across organisations, and as people leads, it can be challenging to navigate that change for ourselves while also leading others through it. That's why during todays event we focused on creating space for celebrations, and our event theme was "Wear your wins" (Shout-out to my amazing co-lead Christiane Wong for the theme)

We focused on how we've all grown over the last year, how far we've come, the skills we've built, the challenges we have navigated, and the people we've met along the way. Themes of self-trust, openness, and the ability to step outside the familiar and trust the process were prevalent throughout. All attendees left with a lovely visual reminder of our reflection/conversation with their own tote bags, so they can "Wear their wins" with pride 😁

Huge thanks to all who attended for being so open to a creative and reflective activity first thing in the morning. Also, huge thanks to the wonderful team at Bloomsyard, Liverpool Street, for doing an impeccable job in hosting us.

We can’t wait to be back bigger and better for our next quarterly event soon. In the meantime, watch this space! 👀 🚀
