THANK YOU to all who attended! - HiBob London Chapter Event

We did it!! Yesterday, Christiane Wong and I hosted our first London Community Chapter Event, and our hearts are full.

Our event focused on "The Human Side of Leadership" and we were so grateful to be joined by wonderful panelists Danielle Dharmaratne, Rebecca Bryant, and Christine Ng, to help us cover this topic.

We covered ALOT, from the complexity of balancing business needs with human emotions, the importance of self-awareness and boundaries as leaders, and how difficult conversations, change, and endings can be approached with empathy and care. None of us are perfect; we're all learning as we go, but being aware, adaptable, and willing to grow alongside the people we lead and never losing our "humanness" along the way is key. Because GREAT leaders create more leaders, and how we show up in the hardest moments often leaves the biggest impact.

A huge thank you to all who attended, to Megan Colombo for all her support to launch these communities globally. and to Long Lin for capturing such wonderful pics/videos from the day.

We're already excited for our next event in September... we hope to see you there. Let's build baby!! 💥 🚀

June London Chapter Event - OUR PANELLISTS ARE CONFIRMED

Our panel is confirmed for our first HiBob London In Good Company Chapter event next week!!! wooo!

Next Thursday, 11th June, Christiane Wong and I are hosting the very first of our community chapter events entitled, 'The Human Side of Leadership'. While leading people and making a difference in the lives of others is SO fulfilling, much like anything in life, there is also a polarity and a flip side of quiet pressure, emotional weight, and responsibility. We want to bring to light what is normally dealt with quietly alone, so that's why we're so excited to be joined by three fabulous women who, through a facilitated panel discussion, are going to share their unfiltered lived experiences of leading people. Joining us is

Rebecca Bryant - EMEA Business Partner @ Everpure,
Danielle Dharmaratne - Head of People Partnering @ BKL,
Christine Ng - Head of Talent & People @ Quantam Motion

This will be a collaborative experience and a safe space for audience participation and time to connect. Here are the details you will need:

  • Date: 11th June 2026

  • Time: 8:30am - 10:30am

  • Location: Fitzrovia Community Centre, 2 Foley Street, London W1W 6DL,

  • Theme: The Human Side of Leadership

  • Format: Panel & open discussion

So if you can relate and have ever felt that quiet pressure to have it all together, join us next week for community, connection, and coffee ☕ We can't wait to see you there!

🤝 Ways I can help or HR superpower: I'm a speaker, facilitator, and ICF-accredited coach. My work focuses on bridging individual growth & business performance, because while business (and the world) doesn't get easier, I believe we can become stronger and better equipped to move through it.
I spend a lot of time supporting leaders and teams navigating change, growth, scale, and increasing complexity by creating reflective spaces and environments where we can enhance our self-leadership, build resilience, and our capacity.

🧐 Looking for advice on/curious about: I’m a huge believer that when we bring different perspectives together, we all grow. So I’d love to learn more about your world, what themes you’re seeing, what challenges you’re experiencing, and what’s working well that both I and others could learn from too. I'm here to learn from you all and build meaningful connections.

💡 Hobbies or fun fact: Writing, keeping fit (swimming/running/gym/yoga), and travelling as much as possible. I’m also obsessed with my niece and nephew (7 & 1), they are my favourite people, so I return home to Scotland often to be with them.

Really looking forward to connecting with you all.😊
