Chapter Meetup: Raleigh

Start your morning in good company ☕ Join us for the first In Good Company Raleigh Chapter gathering, bringing together local HR and People leaders for coffee, conversation, and meaningful connection before the workday begins.

This meetup is designed to be refreshingly low-pressure. We’ll get to know one another, celebrate a few recent wins, and use optional conversation prompts to spark the kinds of honest exchanges that don’t always happen during traditional networking events.

No presentations. No forced round-robin. Just a welcoming space to meet fellow People professionals, exchange ideas, and start building a local HR community we’ll continue growing together.

What to expect:

  • Coffee, pastries, and casual morning networking

  • An opportunity to meet HR and People leaders from across the Raleigh area

  • An optional “wins” moment to celebrate what’s going well

  • Conversation starter cards to help spark thoughtful discussion

  • A first look at what’s ahead for the In Good Company Raleigh Chapter

📍 Good Graces
540 St Albans Dr., Suite 130
Raleigh, NC 27609

🗓️ September 24, 2026

Welcome Everyone!

Hi everyone! 👋 I'm so excited to be here as one of the co-leads of this group!

A little about me: I'm a Senior Manager of Total Rewards with experience across compensation, benefits, and HR strategy. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to support organizations through growth, lead complex HR initiatives, and partner with leaders to create better employee experiences. What I love most about HR, though, is building relationships and helping people solve meaningful challenges.

I'm passionate about connecting HR professionals in the Raleigh area and creating a space where we can share ideas, learn from each other, and grow together—whether you're just starting your HR career or have been in the field for years.

This community is just getting started, and I can't wait to see it come to life with all of you! Stay tuned for some exciting things ahead, and in the meantime, introduce yourself below. I'd love to know who you are, what area of HR you're in, and what you're hoping to get out of this community. 🙌

Welcome New Members!

Welcome to the new members who have recently joined our Raleigh Chapter! We're so glad to have you here.

When you have a moment, please introduce yourself to the group. We'd love to learn more about you, your background, and what brought you to our community. Feel free to invite other HR professionals in the Raleigh/RTP area as well - everyone is welcome, regardless of title, industry, or years of experience. We all bring unique perspectives, and I believe we can learn a great deal from one another while building a strong local support network.

As we begin planning our first meetup, I'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas on format. One concept I've seen that I really liked was using conversation cards with thought-provoking questions to help spark meaningful discussions and make networking feel more natural. If you've attended events that worked particularly well, please share your suggestions!

Thank you, and welcome aboard! 🤗

Welcome to Raleigh Chapter!

Hi, my name is Elina Zamfir, and I am a Chapter Leader for the Raleigh location.

I am excited about the opportunity to bring HR professionals together for collaboration, networking, learning, and the exchange of ideas. Just as importantly, I hope to help build the support network that we all need throughout our careers. Having a trusted circle of peers you can reach out to, learn from, and have meaningful conversations with is invaluable in a world that is constantly evolving. Staying informed, sharing experiences, and collaborating with others in our profession helps us grow both personally and professionally.

A little about me: I bring over a decade of HR experience, primarily in startup and high-growth environments. These experiences taught me that progress often matters more than perfection, that adaptability is a superpower, and that balancing the human side of business with organizational goals is a skill that can only be developed through real-world experience. I thrive in fast-paced environments where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to learn.

Currently, I am particularly interested in the impact of AI on business and HR. As technology continues to transform the workplace, I look forward to exchanging ideas, experiences, and best practices with fellow HR professionals who are exploring this space as well.
